Knowledge is power. One of the main missions of Wight Horse is to empower individuals to advocate for themselves, both from a medical and financial standpoint. We host educational webinars on how to get the most from your medical insurance, assistance with choosing the right plan, resources to find the lowest cost drug programs and reviewing existing plans to help you understand what is covered and what is not.

Advocacy

If you are currently facing high medical expenses, one of our advocates will help to determine if existing bills are correct, provide assistance in setting up provider payment plans, determine the potential to negotiate current bills and provide suggestions on how to find the most cost effective medical services.

Financial Grants

Wight Horse provides several grants each year to cover an immediate medical (or related) expense. Please email info@wighthorse.com and tell us a little about yourself and the need. Each situation is unique. Wight Horse has various resources to help and we want to be assured each applicant is considered for the correct program.
